I had the fortune in May to participate in a songwriting camp arranged by SAE (the music production school I attended during the winter). During two days we wrote two songs. It was honestly one of the best experiences that I’ve had in terms of working in the industry. We had so much fun but it was a lot of work. I actually wrote my first song ever in Swedish which is a bit strange since I've been writing songs since I was 8 years old and could barely speak English xD It wasn't that big of a deal like I thought it would be!
When writing for others, which up until that point I had never done before, you can't really write from your own perspective you need to write from your artist’s point of view. It was actually really liberating that I didn't need to draw inspiration completely from myself.
I made a promise earlier this year that I would focus more on my music and also write for other artists as well. I feel like I’m on my way reaching my goals.
